Villa 24, Samujana’s largest villa, has been the setting for many celebratory gatherings and entertainment of guests and visitors. Most recently, this impressive villa with its panoramic view and expansive living area and terraces, opened its doors to welcome guests for an evening of culinary delights by Celebrity Chef and Master Chef UK 2016 winner, Jane Devonshire.
In 2016, Jane Devonshire won the hearts of millions of viewers with her enthusiasm for cooking and life. A mother of three and self-trained in her home kitchen, Jane Devonshire has remained true to her culinary roots despite her fame and recent cooking adventure with acclaimed UK chefs.
Fans hail her recipes for being everyday-friendly, simple, delicious. In other words, very ‘Jane-esque’. Moreover, she is passionate about cooking gluten-free dishes that are coeliac-friendly and healthy. This is precisely the vibe that she concocted for the three course dinner menu, featuring dishes such as Spicy Roast Cauliflower Quinoa with Sweet Pickled & Seasonal Vegetables, Sweet Thai Basil Panna Cotta, and humble, yet delicious Breaded Mushroom Balls, gluten free of course. Amidst island camaraderie, the dinner was a great success with many guests departing with recipes and secret ingredients to test out at home.
As part of her quest to bridge her own style with Thai flavours, Jane Devonshire has designed 3 dining menus especially for Samujana, which will be on offer to all guests and visitors from December 2017 onward.
